From the baths of Augustus and Hadrian to today’s health establishment: at the Acque Albule, sulphurous water is above all therapy — SSN-covered cure departments and doctors on site — and then wellness, with the SPA open all year and the outdoor pool park in the summer season.

How to start your cure

  1. Ask your GP (family doctor) for the red prescription form for a cycle of thermal cures (exempt or with a co-payment).
  2. Come to the Admissions desk with your prescription and an ID document: the admission examination takes place on site.
  3. Begin your cycle: 12 sessions, Monday to Saturday, with in-house medical care.

Le Vie del Benessere

The Vie del Benessere (‘Paths of Wellness’) SPA: a heated indoor thermal pool, sauna, steam bath, Kneipp baths, vascular circuit, hydromassage, herbal tea room and relaxation areas — the complete wellness experience in the water of the Acque Albule.

From June to September

Summer at the pool park

In the summer season the centre opens the outdoor pool park: four sulphurous-water pools at 23.4 °C over 6,000 m², with areas for adults and children, a solarium and a bar.

The 2026 season has ended: the park reopens in June 2027. The indoor thermal pool of the SPA stays open all year.

Before you visit

Are the thermal cures covered by the SSN?
Yes. With a prescription from your GP (family doctor) you can take one cycle of cures a year covered by the SSN, paying only the co-payment where required. The admission examination takes place on site, at the Admissions desk.
What do I need to start a cycle of cures?
A prescription from your GP indicating the cure cycle, and an ID document. The standard cycle is 12 sessions, Monday to Saturday.
What are the pool park opening hours?
The pool park is open in the summer season; up-to-date hours for the pools, the SPA and the departments are on the Hours and Prices page.
How do I get here without a car?
Tivoli Terme railway station on the Rome–Tivoli line is about 150 metres from the entrance; by car, Via Tiburtina km 22,700 with on-site parking.
Are the pools suitable for children?
Yes: the park has 4 pools with dedicated areas for adults and children over 6,000 m² of water surface.
